Takeout Kits tend to be a little more adventurous, internationally-focused, and authentic than other meal kits.

The other difference between Takeout Kit and other meal kit services is our longer shelf life. Instead of having to cook fresh meal kits within 2-3 days, you'll have up to 2 months to cook your Takeout Kits. We also focus on popular dishes that you might crave from your favorite restaurant take-out. 

Subscriptions are not required but offered for your convenience. Order any of our meal kits à la carte today. We include all the ingredients you need to make delicious international meals in the right proportions. We design the recipes, shop for specialty ingredients, and deliver Takeout Kits right to your door. All you have to do is cook and enjoy!

We deliver nationwide to the continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and military APO addresses worldwide.

Manage Your Subscription: create an account or sign in here (we don't automatically create an account for you). Click on "Manage Subscriptions" on the upper left. In your subscription portal you can cancel, modify, choose your kit, or apply rewards. Recurring subscriptions must be cancelled prior to the 15th of the month to avoid being charged. To change the shipping address on your subscription, please email orders@takeoutkit.com.

Gift Recipients:
We hide order details from gift recipients (like receiving a gift receipt). Because of this, you do not need to create an account. Instead, you'll receive an email from us on the 15th of each month to choose your kit. If you want to confirm or change your shipping address, please email us at orders@takeoutkit.com.

Each meal kit feeds 4 adults. Samplers include 3 different meal kits and each of those meal kits includes 4 servings. So a sampler would give you 12 servings total.


At this time, we don't offer 2-portion meal kits. However, many of our customers are couples or singles and either enjoy leftovers or freeze extra portions.

Some examples of our proteins include: dry cured Spanish chorizo, canned premium Japanese snow crab, 100% natural pouched chicken, and many MANY vegetarian proteins like lentils, teff flour, freekeh, and tetra-packed tofu. 


If you prefer to add your own protein, look for the "add your own protein" kits. These are a few dollars less and go well with rotisserie chicken, frozen shrimp, vegan proteins, etc. (we give recommendations!).

Our ingredients are all shelf stable, however, they are super high quality (organic, authentic imported, gourmet, and preservative-free whenever possible). For example, our Thai Crab Curry kit uses premium canned snow crab imported from Japan; Michelin starred chefs use the same product in their restaurants and it retails at Japanese markets for $8-10. Other examples include: imported Italian tomatoes, ancient grains, spice blends and curry pastes, clean-eating herbs and vegetables (freeze dried, canned, or jarred), and preservative-free specialty sauces. Our goal is to provide a more convenient meal kit experience (without sacrificing quality) so that our customers can use that extra time and flexibility to enjoy more of life.

Auto-renewing subscriptions must be cancelled prior to the 15th to avoid a recurring charge. Please note that if you cancel your subscription after it renews, we do not proactively refund the charge. You will need to reach out to us and request a refund before your box ships.

If you receive a damaged meal kit, incorrect item, or are missing items in your order, please contact us at orders@takeoutkit.com within seven (7) days of the date you received your order and we will either provide a replacement or, depending on the circumstances, provide you a full or partial credit or refund for your order. We may ask for photos to record any damage and improve our processes.
